The purpose of this award is to allow members of AFDSNY with limited annual budgets to attend the Annual Meeting or special training events such as mini summits
  • Registration: Covers two attendees and will be managed by the Program Coordinator.
    • Eligible Attendees: Commissioner, Secretary, Treasurer, Deputy Treasurer, Chief
  • Accommodation: Rooms for two attendees, arranged by the Program Coordinator. Cost for any additional attendees over the 2 will be the responsibility of the attendees’ district
  • Meals: Reimbursement for meals for two attendees.
    • Meals will be reimbursed at the GSA Rate at the time of the event minus any included meals. This rate will be provided in the award letter.
  • Award Recipient Responsibilities & Reimbursement of Expenses:
  • All documentation must be submitted to the Treasurer for reimbursement within 10 days after the event.
  • Award recipients will be responsible for any cancellation fees once the ward is accepted
  • Additional Expenses: Any travel and expenses for more than two attendees will be the responsibility of the attendees and/or their district.
